Don't Pretend To Be Grateful, Act Grateful
It's that time of the year again where everyone says be grateful for what you have. This is all well and good but I want you to act grateful. When you act grateful you are actually bringing about the spirit of gratitude and reflecting it on others. If you are grateful for something in your thoughts but then act miserable to others in your surroundings, you are suppressing your one positive thought and projecting negativity. Then that one grateful thought is no longer powerful and lasting, its just a passing thought. Acting grateful in every aspect of your life will set into motion the positive. The consistent motion of action will reinforces your position of gratefulness, because you are showing the universe you are grateful and bringing about positivity to your surroundings.
Those actions of gratefulness will surround you with positivity. This creates a positive energy field around you allowing your environment to reflect that. When your environment is positive your positive thoughts will then be able to manifest themselves around you. That is why in this season of giving and thankfulness take action to be grateful.
The act of being grateful and having that shine through around you will make you feel so good it will feel selfish. That's all part of it because being grateful in a way helps you, it shows love to others but in the end it comes back to you because it will make you feel so good.
So why walk around being negative and miserable life is to short. Everyday you should act grateful and be proud of what you have and where you are in your life. Today is all you have. There may not be tomorrow or what you have now will come to change and not be there. That change will be a positive change but it will change. So act grateful for your present moment because it is perfect because it is all you have. Then when you create that positive field your environment will be bend to your positive thoughts, leaving you only with gratefulness and positivity.
