Businesses no matter how big or small are ecosystems made up of individual people with their own personalities. No matter how advanced technology gets it will never be able to replace how people can work together and individuals can lead in a positive flowing environment. There are no equations or algorithms for peoples lives because there are too many variables but how can we have our businesses achieve more positive flow? After all company cultures like "Wolf of Wall Street" may seem cool on the big screen for egocentric individuals but even that party came to an end and look at the damage a negative environment has done to Uber. What every leader should practice on at least a weekly basis with their employees is gratitude. Five minutes of gratitude can make all the difference, even if you disagree with the persons work, state the issues you have with their work and then show your appreciation for the effort they have put in.
