Stop Searching Start Executing

Stop Searching Start Executing

There are so many people out there that think the grass is always greener on the other side. I know because I was one of them. I would say too myself "if only I had more money I could grow this business" or "if only I had the right connection then this will all work." This got me jack shit and as a quite introvert that felt that everyone else had the answers it took me some time to figure this out. No matter how great my situation was I would think if only I was at a larger scale than I am now or if only I had more. It was all just a circle for me and the grass is NEVER greener on the other side, I was never executing fully just bitching. You need to execute and appreciate your present.

I specifically fell into this circle of the grass is always greener mentality and inaction mainly due to my introvert nature. Other people may not understand but you introverts do, that in the business world it isn't the quite thinkers that are glorified. I have always been quite so in the business world I would feel this uncertainty about myself since I wasn't the loudest in the room. It created consistent in action on my part out of just sheer fear and nothing ever being good enough because I lacked this one quality. My business suffered and more importantly my relationships suffered because of my in action.

I bring up my example because it is not just a singular issue it stretches and reaches everyone in the business world. I didn't realize this when I first got into business I thought I was the only one. I realized that my own fear had me constantly searching for an answer and that other people do this all the time. I started to hate not doing anything, hate the position I was in more than the fear of speaking out. I learned to channel my introverted nature and take action in specific ways. For example, instead of impressing larger groups where I would feel more uncomfortable I started to target individuals one at a time in smaller groups and individually. I was more personable in these situations and able to build relationships while clearly relaying my point or idea across. I wouldn't feel pressure on myself anymore to network in large events but to find those quite corners where I could have more meaningful conversations that fit with my personality type.

We cant let our internal issues prevent us from taking action, you have what it takes within you, you just have to find the way that works for you. I always say we aren't creating anything new it is only our new way of doing it in the current times that we do it. So by my example I want to show you that everyone not only goes through the same types of struggle but we all the power within us to figure out our own way. You can reach in within yourself and stop searching for the answers and start executing.

When you start ignoring the outside noise and worrying about what you think you need and start focusing on what you have. It all starts to come into focus and you allow yourself to simply execute and not day dream about the what if's. It is just an excuse to keep scrolling through your phone hoping someone else has the answers. This is not saying you don't need a team, no one is successful being an island but you need to execute. Once you execute and focus on what you have the world will begin to transform around you. Your thoughts will point you in the right direction and things will begin to fall into place. Execute and work smart not hard.

You are FUCKING KILL IT!

Grant Cardone drives home excellence in this book especially in motivating you to execute and stop making excuses. Great read.
