Your opportunity is here for a more positive and successful life. The one you have always held in your thoughts.

Work Smarter Not Harder

Work Smarter Not Harder

There are many ways positivity can help us and that is by being in a state of peace which allows us to work smart not hard. I know you can get caught up in the grind of daily life I mean we feel the NEED not WANT to accomplish a set amount of tasks everyday. We have bills, kids, families and spouses we need to provide for and goals we need to accomplish. So this stress can make ourselves narrow minded and not open to the universe and path of least resistance. We need to have movement in our life and if something isn't moving and growing then it is dying and our energy needs to flow elsewhere.

You want to be open to all the possibilities around you not shut off and a lot of the times we think working hard is growing ourselves but it can be the opposite. When your working too hard you will become overly obsessed over minute details instead of being connected and growing your business with the energy around you. For example it would be similar to plugging away 18 hours a day at your desk running through excel files and never networking. You will have killer excel files but who will be around to see them? NO ONE.

Being in tune with the world around you instead of diving head first into mundane tasks regularly allows you to connect with energy that can grow you and your business. Without connecting with the world around us we cannot fulfill what we ultimately need. This isn't a direct correlation to sales in business, though you do need that, it is about fitting the right pieces to a puzzle together. For example, you can have a great idea and plan to implement it. You are great at talking in small groups and getting people to believe in your concept. You just cant walk up to random people and introduce yourself on a whim and have small talk. You may also feel uncomfortable in a room full of multiple investors looking to make an investment. You are an introvert and some of these large group settings and being off the cuff are not your strong suit. It doesn't mean you cant do it. You will just take a longer time to do it, time that could be spent on other tasks. If you are disconnected from the world around you and just overly working and not connecting you will never find that right salesman that sees your vision. You will never find that extrovert your company may need to propel it from okay to great.

You don't want to be so obsessed with your vision that you drown it. You will suffocate it, no one is an island and you have to treat your life and business in this regard. None of us are super human and everyone connects with a select few that aid in propelling their business and career. This isn't a testament to allow you to sit on your couch and hope everything works out. No, this is about moving with the world around you and allowing yourself to be in as many correct places as possible to increase your odds at success. You just want to identify the traits you excel at, connect with the world and push your idea forward.

You need to remember being in tune with the world around you is smart and being overly obsessed and working too hard can hurt your business. You want to have the mindset that a "good plan executed today is better than a perfect plan executed tomorrow", you know who said that? George S. Patton. Its about action and execution so worry about your plan but make sure you are out there open to making it happen.

Quiet is perefect for you introverts to be able to identify with the world around you and focus on what you excel at.
